  First impressions of the Salt Kitchen Bar in Hayle are good.
  The yard at the front of the building is attractively set out, the only downside is that it's quite close to the main road and on a small traffic roundabout. It's also worth noting that the restaurant is quite close to the pay and display car park so if you are driving this is very convenient.
  The interior is very nicely presented with nice pastel colours and comfortable seating area as well as the more functional dining tables.
  The drinks menu is very good too, a wide variety of wines, beer and cider on draught and a good selection of cocktails (which are VERY good)
  The main thing though.....the food. Wow....it is absolutely amazing. Fish dishes are expertly cooked, the steak is of a very high quality and cooked perfectly, puddings are delicious, this place just has all the boxes ticked. If you are in the area and are looking for a place to eat....THIS IS THE ONE to try. Service was very good and all of the staff were very friendly.
  I cannot recommend the place more highly.
  The only negatives I could throw at the establishment is that the tables are a little small for 4 people and the large screen television is a distraction from proper conversation, though the latter is more of a personal preference than a problem with the place.
